About this course

This intensive six-week course provides practical and theoretical training in peripheral blood morphology. Participants will gain hands-on skills in Full Blood Picture (FBP) interpretation, peripheral smear preparation and staining, red cell morphology and anaemia patterns, white cell abnormalities and blast recognition, and platelet assessment and quantification. The course is designed for diploma or bachelor graduates in Medical Laboratory Sciences (or higher) seeking to strengthen diagnostic competence in haematology.
